Dr. Lawrence Clark

Dr. Lawrence Clark (University of Maryland, College Park, Mathematics Education) is an associate professor of math education. His research interests include examining and exploring influences on teachers’ mathematics instructional practices, particularly in schools with a history of low achievement in mathematics. Dr. Clark’s work also includes scholarship that documents the importance of using historical analyses to build theory mathematics education with respect to Black teachers.
